The MD1 team took on the Western Michigan University Stallions on the road this past Saturday evening for the second game of their home-at-home series.

Silverio would net his second of the night in the third, going shortside top corner to give the Bulldogs a 4-2 lead. The Stallions would be awarded a penalty shot shortly after, but goaltender Eric Schuch would shut down the attempt and keep the score at 4-2. The Stallions would score shortly after the failed penalty shot to cut the Bulldog lead down to 4-3. The Stallions would tie the game less than two minutes later off of a powerplay goal and the game would be 4-4. Connor Smith would be the hero in the final minute and a half of the game, scoring what would be the game winning goal off of a rocket of a shot from the top of the circle.
