Taylor McCloy Signs with ECHL's Kansas City Mavericks
After playing two games with the ECHL's Norfolk Admirals at the end of the 2017-18 season, former Men's NCAA assistant captain, Taylor McCloy has signed with the Kansas City Mavericks, also of the ECHL.
McCloy, a native of Keswick, Ontario, appeared in 99 career games in a Bulldog sweater while racking up 51 goals and 59 assists for 110 career points, averaging over a point per game in his college career. He finished his career 11th all time for goals in a career and 9th in goals per game in a career while also finishing tied for third all time in game winning goals and tied for first all time in short handed goals in a career.
McCloy is one of 4 members of the Men's NCAA Class of 2018 to play professional hockey this upcoming season. McCloy and the Mavericks will begin their season on October 12th when they face the Allen Americans in Kansas City.
