Kyle Brothers Signs Pro Contract with HYC Herentals


In a summer full of off season signings, former Men's NCAA standout and USCHO Rookie of the Year, Kyle Brothers, makes it four members of the Men's NCAA team to play professional hockey this upcoming.

Brothers will make his professional debut with HYC Herentals of the Bene League, the top professional hockey league in Belgium.

Brothers made quite the name for himself while wearing a Bulldog sweater, including an unfortgettable rookie campaign where he scored the first goal of the Harris Cup Finals on a penalty shot in front of a packed house at Arrington Ice Arena and would cap off his rookie year by winning the USCHO Rookie of the Year award. Brothers finished his career as a Bulldog 52 goals and 99 assists for 151 points in 110 career games. He holds mutliple records, coming in tied for 8th all time in goals, 7th in assists and tied for fifth in total points in a career.

Brothers and the Herentals will begin their season on September 30th against Era Renomar HYC.
