How long have you played hockey? 15 years

What made you want to play hockey? My older brother Cody played hockey and I

wanted to be just like him. My parents wanted me to be a figure skater but I was

insistent on playing hockey instead.

What is the highest level of hockey you’ve played (before college)? Before

college I played AAA hockey in the Detroit area and I also competed across seas

in Europe for the North American Stars.

Favorite hockey memory? Either scoring the game winner in the state

championship in 2011 or taking home bronze in the Czech Challenge cup in

Prague 2015.

Favorite hockey player? Pavel Datsyuk

Where did you play before coming to Adrian? Little Caesars AAA Detroit

Why did you choose Adrian? Hockey seems to be the sport here. Everyone loves

to support the 6 teams and its really cool how everyone knows everyone with it

being such a small school.

Favorite memory of college hockey so far? Beating Miami of Ohio.

Any superstitions or things you do for luck (ie: putting right side of gear on first,

writing phrases, quotes, verses, etc. on your stick, taping your stick a certain

color, etc.)?

I eat fruit loops before every game and I put my pants on after my skates are

tied.

To quote Jack O’Callahan in Miracle, “Why’d yah wanna play college hockey?”:

Honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without hockey. Its been the biggest part of my

life since I was 4 years old, and to be able to say I played hockey at the

collegiate level is pretty neat.
